He has the ability to 'Self Destruct' his body or any body part of choice by forcing chemical change in his body into gas, creating an explosion of controlled power. He also has the ability to choose where the explosion is most concentrated and which direction(s) it goes in. To ensure he doesn't die in Self Destruction. James has kept a secret part of his brain in the Brotherhood Mansion, unknown to anyone except his closest friend Tai. So that if he Self-Destructs he can easilly reform.
