Powers and Abilities:

• Telepathic Manipulation
  • Mind Control: An ability of Thomas'. It allows him, by concentrating, to go into the mind of another and control it; the amount of control exerted depends on the mental capabilities of the target(s), but given his power of telepahy, most individuals fall to this power. He can even use this ability to make others think time has stopped, merely an example of the potential of this power.
    
  • Telepathic Cloak: An ability granting Thomas the power to hide his presence and the presence of others from everyone in the area. This cloak can be thwarted though by more powerful telepaths who also specialize in Telepathic Manipulation above all other powers.
    
  • Telepathy: The ability that grants Thomas the power to read minds. He is able to quickly gather and process information and store it into his own mind, allowing him to withdraw the information he needs within seconds. Thomas also has the power to put up mental barriers within himself and within others to separate other's psychic abilities, even from themselves, as well as keep other less powerful telepaths from entering his mind.
    
  • Mental Amnesia: This ability allows Thomas to alter the memories of certain individuals, even a large amount of people at the same time, erasing chosen memories and making that gap in their mind seem natural; that is to say, new memories will take its place and will work fluently with the other memories, completely preventing any second guessing of the gap.
    
  • Mental Detection: An ability allowing Thomas to detect and differenciate between the presence of a human and a mutant by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by mutants.
    
  • Mind Transferal: This allows Thomas to transfer both his mind and powers into the body of another host in the event his own physical body would perish. There are limitations to this ability though. First, if the new host body is a conscious mind, that is, somebody that is consciously awake, then it will be impossible to perform. If the new host body is unconscious, but not brain dead or in a state of long term of permanent unconsciousness, then Thomas may be able to put his mind and powers into the body unless the unconscious body is that of a telepathic mutant. Lastyl, if the new host body is one that is brain dead or in a state of permanent or long term unconsciousness, then Thomas will have no issue in performing this ritual.
  
  
• Telekinesis
  • Telekinetic Manipulation: Thomas has limited telekinetic abilities. He is capable of lifting small objects, nothing bigger than a basketball, off of the floor with relative ease. He is just barely able to lift his own body off the floor, allowing him to hover for a short period of time 6 inches off the ground.
    
  • Psionic Shield: An ability granting Thomas the power to erect telekinetic shields for himself and friends. However, this shield is limited, yet powerful. It can ward of a blast powerful enough to decimate an entire football field, however it can only reach 6 feet around in radius, 12 ft in diameter, allowing him to protect only a limited amount of people.
  
  
• Telepathic Illusions
  • False Reality: An ability of Thomas' and a powerful one at that. It allows him to put forth a mental illusion into the mind of another, or even a group of people by looking at them and concentrating. In order to keep this illusion up, Thomas must keep his eyes on their person. This puts the target(s) into an illusion which affects all of their senses, even a sixth sense, and makes them live a reality which is not real. Only a powerful telepath near Thomas' level can resist this, and even then they must be more powerful with Telepathic Manipulation than their other telepathic abilities.

• Body - Thomas is an evenly built male. Rather than become a punching bag for others, he's worked out in his spare time and taken lessons in close quarters combat in order to take on opponents who fight physically. He has a fair bit of muscle and has some hair over his chest. Over top of his upper body he wears what appears to be a purple-ish dress shirt with a red tie. Over top of this, he wears a black blazer. He wears black dress pants with a black leather belt running through the loops and a pair of black dress shoes and black socks.

Personality:

Thomas is a very nice individual, but can be incredibly bold when he finds he needs to. He treats everyone he meets, even those on the "other side" with respect and kindness, never wanting to stir up trouble or cause negative emotions which could lead to a situation where somebody gets hurt. He has a love for all mutants and humans alike, believing that the two will one day be able to get along one day. He believes that mutants and humans can reach a conclusion where one and the other can live amongst the other in peace without fear. As a result, he created Xavier's School for Higher Learniner, a safe haven for mutants away from the cruel outside world allowing them to live and grow in peace away from discrimination and violence.

Thomas holds no grudge against his old best friend, James, despite the different paths they took. He has a high degree of respect for him, however still disagrees with the methods he chooses to go about reaching the goal they both seek. Sometimes it may seem like Thomas seems distant to his two children, however with his telepathic abilities, he's always keeping a watching over them to make sure they are doing alright.

History:

Thomas is a native born to the New York state. He was born with a genius intellect and powers which he could not explain. Once he turned of age, he was put into a schol for gifted children where he excelled in and even surpassed the brightest of students. As he grew, he began to understand his powers and came to the conclusion he had telepathic abilities which contributed a lot towards his genius intellect.

Thomas received nothing but respect and high praise from his parents who didn't pick up on the fact he had strange abilities. Although Thomas grew to understand himself, he had little practice with using his powers and abilities. It became evident that he would have to test on others in order to fully understand what he was going through. As the years passed, he subtly began to use his powers on his peers. He could read minds and create illusions, and due to it being a telepathic ability, he could do it discretely without notice. He could absorb information from others and from what he read and watched at enormous rates.

While still in elementary school, he began to develope an ability that allowed him to detect special frequences of radiation. In other words, he was able to detect mutants around him, and as he grew, this ability also grew. He began to realize there were others around him, people he wouldn't even expect to be mutants. There were dozens. It was to these particular mutants that he would use his mind reading abilities on them to talk to them telepathically. At first they would be freaked out and scared, but after he explained that he knew who they were, they all began to become friends, or most of them. As the last years of elementary school began to pass away, Thomas and his group of mutant and human friends began to grow and he was soon considered to be one of the most popular kids in school, and one of the nicest.

High school was the next step in his life. here too he attended a gifted school where he was again the most intelligent student in school. This drew the attention of many other students, those who were jealous of his intellilect as they had been the smartest kids in their past schools. They all appeared to be humans, and somehow, Thomas was once again drawn to a mutant crowd. It was here Thomas realized there was some antagonism towards the mutant race from humans. Rather than viewing them as a threat though, he pitied them for allowing others to influence their thoughts. If they would keep an open mind, humans and mutants could live together in peace.

Thomas drew all the mutants towards him subtly, and included some of the more understanding humans too to show the mutants that there are humans in the world that aren't against mutants existing amongst them. It worked for the most part, however some mutants were picked on so hard that they had a hard time believing in Thomas' view on the world. Thomas saw this as an issue he thought he had to fix, and soon began to travel to other high schools in his spare time. To everyone, it would appear as just Thomas volunteering for community service, but while he did so, he was looking for mutants and preaching his words of peace and understanding. There would be those who would listen with an open mind, and those who would call him nothing but a dreamer. It was those particular mutants Thomas wanted to help the most, to let them know that not everyone in the world was cold.

Thomas made friends with hundreds of teenagers in dozens of schools, and did community service in elementary schools to talk to the younger mutant students and encourage them to endure the pain, as there was good in everyone still.

Eventually Thomas attended University. His ways did not change a bit, as he would go to University and begin to form a large group of friends who too were mutants and humans alike. It was here he met the male he would consider to be one of his greatest friends, a man named James. The two became the best of friends in University, and Thomas would try to introduce him to many of his mutant and human friends alike. The two worked together to try and create an environment in which mutants could live peacefully, however, certain events wuold unfold which would increasingly make this harder to do.

One day, a mutant was forced to use his powers to keep himself from harm. The human university students saw him as a threat, and many began to pick on him, using physical and mental violence. In order to back him up, many other mutants, especially many of Thomas' friends began to reveal themselves as mutants in order to releave some of the stress on this one mutant. However, this backfired. The humans began to become increasingly resistant against the idea of mutants living amongst them, and soon anti-mutant riots and groups began to emerge in the University to try and get the mutants removed from the school. Thomas began to notice that James was becoming increasingly infuriated with the humans opposing the integration of mutants and humans and began to devise plans and make his own moves, many of which involved striking back against the humans.

He looked to Thomas to back him up, but Thomas would not take part in actions which involved harming another human or mutant being. While James worked on his own plans, Thomas worked on trying to find a peaceful resolution to this increasing problem in violence towards mutants, and many of the mutants that he had befriended would back him up in it. Eventually though, James made a move which would completely throw him away from the path he and Thomas both sought after together. He and all of his followers were expelled, despite Thomas's plea's towards the head of the school. Even after Jame's expulsion, Thomas tried to get him back into the school, but to no avail. James approached him but Thomas again would not follow James in his pursuit to strike back at the humans. Angry, James left, labelling Thomas a betrayer to his own cause.

Despite Jame's disappearance, Thomas continued his fight for mutant rights in the most peaceful manner he could, attempting to not antagonize those who were opposed to mutants, but rather bring them over to the side of good. He eventually met and married the love of his life in University, Samantha Herrington. A beautiful blonde, she was a mutant he had helped in the past to believe in the good in humans. After University, the two moved in together and began a family, having two children, Maximus and Elizabeth. However, Samantha died by the hands of humans which took a toll on his children. In order to create a safe environment for them, with the help of his old friends he built a Mansion for mutants to live together in peace and receive a proper education, which he called Xavier's School for Higher Learning. From here on, he lived with his family and those he met in the past that believed in him and his way of life.
