Powers and Abilities:
- Possesion Junko has the uncanny ability to shift into a ghost-like form and inhabit the body of a living or nonliving thing. She can attempt to take control of the functions and thoughts of the body or object as well, but possible resistance from the host in question may result in difficulty or a possible forcing out after eventual fatigue. Use of the host's powers (is he/she is a mutant), as well as prolonged staying within the host's body can quicken the strain in Junko's power, and if left unchecked, it can harm her internally. Also of note is that when the host's body is damaged or stressed to a certain extent, their eyes would shift and glow into Junko's natural coloring, a potentially fatal flaw in covert operations.
- Ectoplasm: as a defense mechanism made from her ghost form, Junko is able to spew out a sticky, non-lethal slime from her palms and her mouth, helping to hold down potential hosts and such (so long as their not strong enough to tear through it like day-old gum).
- Astral Flight: Junko can also fly in a partial or whole ghost form.
Appearance:Junko appears at a fair height and complexion for her age, youthful and such. As for her weight, she isn't too fattened, but not much on the level of a cover model, either. Her hair is pitch black with bangs along the bottom, and her eyes are an eerie shade of green. The main thing to note of her body is of her pale, almost transparent skin, along with the faint and blackened veins found on points of her face. As for her fashion, she often wears a variety of casual and hipster-like clothing, and has a certain preference for scarves.
Personality:Junko is the kind of girl that other would call a walking ball of sunshine, despite her upbringings as a mutant. She comes off as an upbeat, witty and kind young woman, and often tries to lend a helping hand to others. She's also quite infamous for her geeky tendencies, not often caught dead without a book or a brain full of useless and obscure facts. Often times, she likes to go headfirst into her tasks, and gets hot-blooded when she sees a scrap waiting to happen. Surely, a model ditz if there ever was one.
However, of course, she has problems of her own. First off, she a bit of a lazy one when it comes to the most mundane tasks, and often flies off the handle when boredom grows overbearing. Another thing is the general feeling off odd and awkwardness that she gives off in others, which makes friend-bonding a bit more difficult. Even worse is the fact that Junko can get pretty oblivious as well. Still, in the end, she means well for the good and decency of the world, and yearns to help find equality for man and mutant.
History:Junko was born in Canada to a pair of quirky parents. Her mother was a school teacher and her father was a traveling comic artist. There was also Junko's more distant twin sister, Kimi. She was considered the black sheep of the family for her constantly rebellious behavior, but Junko herself seemed to look up to her, in a sense. They weren't exactly the richest or the most perfect family in the world, but they got by.
As they both grew to enter high school, things started to grow more intense. Junko began to grow pale and sickly. For years, she had this occasional incident of short bursts, but now this started to become more permanent. The next thing she knew, her parents would send her to the emergency room frequently, with even odder symptoms coming into view. She started to vomit green bile and grow more transparent at night. Outside sources would pick up on her and immediately classify her as a newly discovered mutant.
A team of rebel mutants would come and launch a guerrilla attack on the hospital, leaving several casualties including her visiting Kimi. They came to forcibly kidnap a bewildered Junko, but fear and panic overtook her, causing a wild escape. The death and destruction became too much for the young woman, and seeing her sister's limp and lifeless form, she fell to her knees in front of one of the rebel force, waiting for her fate. It was that same whirlwind of emotions that finally triggered her dormant mutant genes. She accidentally possess one of the rebel mutants and went into hiding for the next few years.
In those years after she left her first host, she traveled the world with nothing but the clothes on her back and whatever she could carry with her hands. Eventually, she came to learn about a man named Xavier, and his particular academy for mutants. Although, she would rather wish to return to her family, she learned that her mutant powers had long since been caught on film, and furthermore, she too was presumed dead thanks to the aftermath of the mutant attack. And so, she made her choice to begin a new chapter of life for herself.
When she reached the academy, she was quite shocked to see other young mutants flaunting their abilities without fear. At first, she worried of her future and her place among the other, but a fated meeting with Thomas Xavier would help to bring her upbeat attitude back. Through her years at the institute, she would come to terms with the trauma and focus her energy on helping to better the world for mutantkind, and so, her new life had started anew...blockquote]
