Powers and Abilities:
Charlotte has the ability to generate plasmic energy. Plasmas are by far the most common phase of matter in the universe, both by mass and by volume. All stars are made up of plasma, and it is considered to be hotter than fire itself.
- Plasmid Blasts/Explosions: She can create balls of blue plasmic blasts that are not only obviously very hot but also dangerously explosive. This explosive, flaming material can be cast forward at great speeds. The general direction the material takes depends on whichever way she casts it, and cannot be redirected. The explosions are as powerful as a grenade going off, or a cannon shooting a missile, but are more dangerous because the flaming material is much more powerful than a regular flame, so much so that it can burn through metal, and thus can burn a person much faster.
- Lightning Generation: Charlotte can generate Lightning/electricity through the plasmic energy. Since plasmas are very good conductors, electric potentials play an important role. Lightning is an example of plasma present at Earth's surface. She can cast lightning from the palms of her hands using her own body's electrical design. She can tickle electricity through the entirety of her skin as a defense mechanism, though this does not appear as lightning. Because of the charged potential energy always in her body, that shields her mind from detection and intrusion by even the most powerful telepaths. The shield has the added effect of destabilizing touch based powers.
- Force Field Creation: With plasma in which the magnetic field is strong enough to influence the motion of the charged particles, she has control over magnetic fields. The magnetic field acts like a force field. It protects a person, area or object from attacks or intrusions, or else to physically confine or imprison enemies. If she wants, she can allow for certain things to pass through if she wills it. She cannot keep this force field up for long periods of time, for it takes up too much energy. It is much better for her to use the force field in short periods of time. She can manipulate the size of the force field from 0-20 yards instantaneously. This kind of change will cause anything outside and in the range of the force field to be pushed back. Charlotte always remains at the center of the force field.

Superhero outfit: Her clothes consist of a string bikini top under a black jacket. The jacket has a white stripe running along the length of each of her sleeves and has a white star design on the front (left side) and back. She also wears a pair of tight-fitting shorts, gloves, and black knee-high boots.
Personality:
Charlotte is generally standoffish, and doesn't really speak much. She wont let anybody too close because she fears if she gets too attached to anyone, they'll get hurt, or they will. She is emotionally unstable because of the imperfect chemical enhancement she underwent as a little girl that continue to effect her. She is really kind and sincere and doesn't lie unless she has to.
She has a very different personality sometimes. Charlotte transforms from this silent girl into a very sarcastic, sensual, playful and confident individual. She enjoys using her powers and fighting very much. She likes to have fun and make friends. She won't mess with you if you don't mess with her, and she's usually really patient about it too, but if you go to far, she'll kick your ass. She has a quick tongue and temper. It's like this on and off switch in which you never know when this other side is going to switch on or off.
History:
Charlotte was born in Paris, France during the World's Fair. It was the most spectacular fair ever seen, with over one thousand exhibitors from every corner of the world. Dr. Fortescue was there to see it along with his wife, Catherine, a great scientist. On the third day of the trip the pair had decided to ride on a balloon. When they were in the air, a problem had occurred. There was a hole in the balloon! The hole tore and put them in even greater danger. They were thousands of feet from the earth. Suddenly, mother Catherine's water broke! She struggled to keep their child in as the professional aeronaut tried to take them down. But she gave up and pushed her daughter into the world. She arrived without a cry. Eyes open and focused. It seemed impossible, but it happened.
She was born with a head of white hair, but turned black throughout the first few months of her life. She was a naturally curious and eager child.
But then, the worst happened when she turned five. She had an incident where she quite literally blew up the stove and almost set their home on fire. Charlotte's mother knew when it happened that her child was a mutant. Her father wanted to protect her and love her, and thought her simply gifted. But her mother thought her an abomination with powers only a God should have.
One night, her mother went behind Dr. Fortescue's back and hired someone to kidnap her baby girl and take her away to a lab that experimented on mutants in America. They called it "the School". When this was done, they chose her to create as a weapon instead of turning her into a lab rat.
First, they took her and erased her memories and inserted a chip which acted as a sort of mind control.
This was her purpose, they told her, and it would be wired in her mind from then on. They used chemicals to enhance her speed, agility, and strength. When they did this, in caused her to have any hope of having complete control over her powers. After that came years of terrible and grueling experimentation, training on several forms of martial arts, the art of assassination, tracking, tactics, and maneuverability.
They called her "Supernova" because of the great potential of her power, of what she was capable of. She was put in a special team that hunted mutants called "Division", bringing them back dead or alive. She was a mutant weapon to be used against mutants.
One day, while fighting a mutant, the fight was extremely brutal, and the chip got damaged. The mutant who had been fighting Charlotte knocked her out and took her away with her. She woke up at the mutant's home. Charlotte lost all her memories due to the chip being damaged during the fight. But one thing she did remember, was the life she had before the lab. She remembered her parents and where she came from.
The mutant who had fought her took pity on her and let her stay, seeing as she lost all memories. She allowed this stranger to take care of her. But the more and more she thought about her parents, the more she wanted to see them. She had no idea what had happened, how she ended up at "the School" and she wanted to see if they knew.
So she stole money from her 'caretaker' and ran away.
With the money, she bought a ticket to France. She remembered her home as if it were yesterday she was there last. It was late at night, and she saw that the lights were on in the home. She peeked inside through a window, knowing that they would not be able to see her out there. She saw a scene she didn't exactly like. There was a young child there, sitting in a high chair, and the parents took turns feeding this child. They had such love in their eyes it made her heart hurt so much.
When they all went to sleep, Charlotte broke into the house to find out more about herself. She had forgotten her name, but after much investigation, she found that her real name was Fortescue, not Frost. She saw a picture of herself with her parents when she was just a toddler. It brought tears to her eyes. Suddenly, she decided to go into her little brother's room. She entered the room and watched him sleep. They all looked so happy. She didn't want to disturb them. If she wasn't with them, there must have been a reason for it....
Charlotte left the home and never returned.
Where she was going, she didn't know, but she finally stopped at a bridge where she caught her breath. She looked into the water below and she found it almost inviting. That is when a man in black appeared out of nowhere and attacked her. She didn't recognize him. There was so much she couldn't remember, it was driving her insane. But she defended herself and ran off again. It was a surprise to her on how well she could fight. She wished she knew where she learned such skill from.
Charlotte didn't sleep that night, she just kept walking through the streets of Paris. In the morning she awoke to find a newspaper there was a wanted picture of her there. Startled and afraid, she ran away and out of the city. For many weeks she was homeless until she made her way to the ports in the west of Europe where she sneaked into a ship back to America. Luckily for her, she managed to survive by stealing as little food as possible so as to go unnoticed.
She made it back to New York in that ship. But she realized she had nowhere to go. She was too afraid to go back this person who had taken care of her because she thought this person might turn her in. So she remained homeless in the streets of New York City.
Inventory:These items will not be available to her until she returns to the Institution. Her 'caretaker' had connections with the X-men and had turned these weapons in to them after Charlotte ran away.
- Black Blade: A Black Hilted Katana
- Arm Canon: A giant gun which can be attached to her very arm. This gun magnifies her plasmid blasting and lightning generating abilities to a much larger scale, and she can almost actually manipulate it. The Canon has a rate of fire of 20 shots per second.
